Notice that all the birding areas are in the central and Southern part of the country, away from the former conflict in the North.

Particular for Bird photographers, Ethiopia is an amazing country. Birds are very easy to approach at short distance, which makes photographing them easier.

In Ethiopia, the people are indifferent for birds. They don’t hunt them, they don’t eat them, they don’t harm them, and they have no attention for them. Human being is not a treat to the birds. Full screen photography of birds can go easily to 150 birds in a week, and 300 birds in a 3 weeks trip. The daily nice climate, all year round, makes it easy for photographers.
